Ranchi, Jharkhand — In a remarkable step towards community well-being, Curesta Health has launched a new initiative aimed at equipping Ranchi Traffic Police personnel with essential life-saving skills. This hands-on training program is designed to empower frontline traffic officials with the knowledge and techniques needed to respond to medical emergencies swiftly and effectively.

Why This Initiative Matters

Traffic police are often the first responders at the scene of road accidents, cardiac arrests, or sudden health emergencies on the road. Recognizing this critical role, Curesta Health took the lead in organizing a special training session to teach CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), basic first aid, and emergency response techniques to the dedicated personnel of Ranchi Traffic Police.

What the Training Covered

The training, conducted by senior doctors and emergency care specialists from Curesta Health, focused on:

  • CPR techniques for adults and children

  • Managing bleeding and fractures in accident scenarios

  • Handling unconscious patients

  • Do's and Don’ts during road accidents

  • Live demonstrations and hands-on practice

The training was delivered in both Hindi and English to ensure maximum understanding and participation. Interactive sessions, question-answer rounds, and real-life scenario simulations made the program practical and impactful.

Words from the Organizers

Dr. Sana Anjum Haque, Emergency Medicine Specialist at Curesta Health, shared,

“Our aim is to empower those who are already saving lives in their own way. With the right medical training, these brave traffic personnel can make a huge difference in the golden hour of an emergency.”

Senior officials from the Ranchi Traffic Police Department appreciated Curesta Health’s proactive approach and expressed interest in extending this training to more units in the future.

Community Health Through Collaboration

This initiative is part of Curesta Health’s commitment to community outreach, preventive healthcare, and building a safer environment for all. The hospital continues to work towards not just treating patients, but also educating and empowering the community in life-saving practices.

Looking Ahead

Curesta Health plans to extend similar training programs to:

  • School and college staff

  • Public transport drivers

  • Corporate employees

  • Common citizens through community health camps
